Hello everyone! My name is Satyne Ward, the Head Coach, and Technical Director of Stars United Baton & Dance. We are a club who serves twirlers, dancers, and cheerleaders in York Region, including Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Aurora, Thornhill, and Orangeville since 1980.
At Stars United Baton & Dance, our primary focus is providing a safe, comfortable and nurturing sport for athletes to express, strengthen and condition their twirling, dance and cheer skills and abilities. Our trained and certified coaches make up an amazing teaching family; many are SUBC alumni and all are educated, versatile and kind hearted individuals.
We provide well rounded programs to both elite twirlers and to those who want to enjoy twirling, dance, and cheer but in a more relaxed setting in our recreational programs. Through their journey here, former athletes have learned valuable life lessons, many whom are all senior twirlers. These athletes have stayed committed to baton while pursuing successful careers in medicine, nursing, business, and law to name a few.
